Situated on the cliff top region overlooking Long Bay and Tiritiri Matangi island, the proposal for 215 Bearing Parade made full use of its locale with its bold form and shifted planes which stretch and slide horizontally across the landscape to establish the unique spaces within.
A large kitchen sits centrally at the heart of the home around the fireplace and connects directly to the large dining room and living area in a fluid, free-form space. A grand, triple height fully glazed facade pours natural light deep into these spaces and connects the house visually to the bay and horizon beyond.
